These are a few more pics from Father's Day that I hadn't posted yet. We had such a busy day that day (dedication, visit with my side of the family in River Forest) but I didn't want to overlook these moments with Daddy and Daddy's Daddy! Anyone who knows Jay knows he is a DIE HARD St. Louis Cardinals fan. The moment we found out we were expecting a little one, he started accumluating Cardinals items for "Baby Hobson." Never mind if the baby was a boy or a girl, he was going to ensure that they were "raised right!" as he calls it. Of course that means steeped in Cardinals memoribilia and traditions! We agreed that if the baby was a boy, we would have a Cardinals nursery, and Jay got his wish! Down to the crib mobile with spinning Cardinal birds and baseballs, it would make St. Louis proud! Further cementing his glee was the fact that the year I was pregnant, the Cardinals won the World Series! He said Holden was their good luck charm. Anyway, here are some shots of him opening his card from Holden, and them goofing around in their matching hats. They already had these, but bought Jay's Dad, Holden's "Pepaw" one for Father's Day so that all three could match. Let the games begin! (And can the Cubbies start losing a few, please??) =o)
Three generations: Pepaw, Holden, and Daddy. "Go Cards!"Holden and his Pepaw in their matching hats.

The boys look really cute in their Cardianal hats. Although, the Cubs aren't going to start losing just because Jay wants them to. ha ha! I have to say, Steve isn't liking that Papa is converting Colin to a Cardinals fan. Colin's favorite thing to say now, is Go Cardinals, especially when Jay and Papa are around. Lori isn't going to like that either! She just thought she had to worry about Holden, not Colin! :)
