*I put so many pics in the collage that they are tiny! If you click on one of the pics it will zoom you in for a closer look. There were so many cute ones!
Today we met Annie and the Cunningham boys, our friend and coworker Stephanie, and her 18 month old nephew, Wil, for a playdate at Tipton Park. Tipton has a cool water area that is great for a summer day. This morning ended up being overcast and much cooler than yesterday, even raining a bit at times, but the boys could have cared less and the three older ones played until their lips turned blue! (Cade was content with his Mama, the swings, and a nice bottle) =o) Colin and Holden are really forging a little friendship as Holden turns from a baby into a person. He followed his buddy everywhere today, with Colin encouraging him, "Come on, Holden! You can do it!" Went down a big tunnel slide by himself in hot pursuit after Colin, followed him into the water area, and even got some help in the fun red spinning thing. (What do they call that?) We were cracking up as we watched Colin attempt to coerce Holden into going smack into the middle of the water sprayers. The water is all activated by red buttons throughout the water area. Colin knew exactly which ones triggered which areas. He'd lead Holden over to a section and say, "Stay here, Holden, while I just push this button!" He'd giggle to himself as he did it. Holden had a few surprises but would just shriek and run out, much to Colin's dismay. ("Come back, Holden! Let's PLAY!") Little Wil (in the yellow shirt) was absolutely adorable and had no fear. I don't think I saw him without a grin on his face. Boy, did Holden sleep good this afternoon!
